Mr Osborne has bigger problems to worry about than finding a foreign student to hug em He needs to urgently check if the UK isn't now guilty of committing international fraud due to Theresa May's immigration policies http://ift.tt/1QVnVeP

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1ZJs4Ff

Why are fee paying international students being forced to find jobs to finish the very expensive studies they have paid for? http://ift.tt/1LJDLHU #internationalstudents #internships #STEM

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1XQAYUa

International students drive lots of things ... (in the UK) Including sudden unexpected, unexplained fee hikes (many times mid semester) by British universities http://ift.tt/1n3E2vj

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1XhR0W9

http://ift.tt/28vFpGY

via Instagram http://ift.tt/24KjQ0B

Well if universities charge #internationalstudents an arm and a leg for education services. Then abdicate responsibility for an important part of a student's course. What's that then? ... http://ift.tt/1tl8ULa

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1YkqSJy

Yup and foreign student numbers will continue to keep falling until universities own up they need #internships to finish the very expensive courses they pay hundreds of thousands for http://ift.tt/1nkNR8W #STEM #vocationaleducation #internationalstudents

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1YkroHl

Does anyone know why these fee paying foreign students were removed from the UK? We've not heard anything more after this news story broke? http://ift.tt/23PO8nC

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1YkrOh1

NO- this paper misses the point (deliberately)? International students PAY for a UK education. This includes #internships. Therefore, since UK universities take hundreds of thousands of pounds from these students They should be able to finish their studies in the UK. ie take the internship needed to finish their course - *simples* http://ift.tt/1tl8xAr

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1Ykqlr6

We need to talk about British universities ... "UNIVERSITY STUDENTS SAY THEIR DEGREE IS POOR VALUE FOR MONEY" http://ift.tt/1tl8J2x

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1YkrRJC

ppssstt - can anyone tell us if these students got their money back? ... they really should you know ... http://ift.tt/1oOnedg

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1Ym4gZn

50,000 fee paying foreign students should never have been deported in the 1ST place #eduscam #educationforall #stem #internationalstudents http://ift.tt/25W56ON

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1Ym4OP5

Is this woman an education expert??? How's she qualified to say what's #education and what's #employment #STEM #internationalstudents http://ift.tt/25W5KvP

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1Ym4CPF

CORRECTION #internationalstudents are going where they can finish their #education http://ift.tt/1Kcz7zI #visafraud #educationscam

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1UKt9uK

We'd like British vice chancellors to stop putting profit before students' welfare and their obligation to provide a quality education. Will they admit they've been deceiving MPs and the British public? Probably now. But now is the time to come clean international students need #internships to FINISH STUDIES if they want to keep fleecing us with outrageous fees http://ift.tt/1tqBVFQ

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1S1ywkF

We hate to break it to you. BUT it's just not worth it to study in the UK anymore. You can't get the education you pay for :/ #internationalstudents http://ift.tt/1WxJLtb

via Instagram http://ift.tt/233mxLB

waiting for these people to investigate why international STEM students are being wrongfully deported from the UK be like ... http://ift.tt/1UKryoL #highereducation #internationalstudents #STEM

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1PVjoLy

"CANADA NOW MORE POPULAR THAN UK AMONG INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS" Well look at that, maybe Canada likes their immigration system being abused. Or maybe the Home Secretary of the United Kingdom is WRONG about internships being employment. Where does she get her facts?? http://ift.tt/1TWHzVx

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1OkdMdk

A great read with some good points. But there's something really important this dude isn't mentioning #internships http://ift.tt/1tqzByS #internationalstudents

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1rkq6PN

There's been lots of great articles recently about international students. We'll be updating our instagram feed over the next couple days to bring these to you. Starting with this really great FT myth busting piece - STUDENTS WANT AN UK EDUCATION BUT AREN'T INTERESTED TO WORK IN THE COUNTRY - #internships is not employment/working http://ift.tt/1YkhOUV

Our 1ST crowdfunding recipient

There are up to 310, 190 non EU students studying in HE across the United Kingdom, during any one academic calendar year.

We want to help each and every student who may need help to raise the finances. So they can get the legal help they need while they're studying.

Our 1ST funding recipient is Roxanne. Get to know her by reading her blog posts.

Don't wait around to buy our rewards. Let's help Roxanne to access the legal advice she needs about the best way to get the practical experience she needs. So she can be the best architect she can be!

But let's not stop there. Let's club together and raise enough money to help at least 4 students in need for the next 12 months. Thank you for your donations and being a friend to international students.

Guest blog by Voice of Salam - Would you pay tens of thousands of pounds for an incomplete degree?

We're delighted by the growing media interest in the plight of international students in the UK.
Click this link to read the excellent article by the blogger Elizabeth on her blog the Voice of Salam.

Please would you read this article and ask yourself this very tough question: what would you do if you'd spend £200,000 to learn a highly specialist subject in a foreign country. Then find out you couldn't learn all the skills and subject matter;only towards the end of your degree. After you'd spent alot of time and alot of money working towards your professional qualification.

How would you feel?
What would you do?

Would you want others to help you get justice?

Maybe these questions might be quite challenging in the current context of the immigration debate in the UK. Ponder these questions until the next guest blog posts from Media Activist Jay Baker are published.

There are over 2 million international students in the UK

copyright National University of Singapore (NUS)

Our goal is to be able to have enough funds and resources to respond to any student who needs legal help while studying. That's alot of money to help up to 310,190 students. We're determined to scale operations to meet this ambition. But to start, we'd like to help at least 4 overseas students with our current fundraising for 2016.  We definitely want to help one.

Buy a reward help us support at least 4 superstar students
Our crowdfunding has now gone LIVE.
Please click this link to make a fair education for international students in the UK a FACT.

Please give generously so that we can SMASH our target and  help as many international students as possible in the next 12 months. We hold on record more than 4 international students who've unsuccessfully tried to find help to finish their studies.

According to HESA stats, there were just over 2 million international students in the UK in  2014/15.

"UKCISA stats show there were 310,190 non EU students
in Higher Education in 2013-14"
source HESA Students in Higher Education 2013-14

Records suggest 90% of international students who study at university; enrol on HE vocational studies. Commonly called "sandwich courses." If the current obstacles stay in place. It will be virtually impossible for any of these students to finish the studies they start and  obtain the full professional qualifications of the university HE course they 're on.

We'd like to have the funding and resources in place to help each and every overseas student who may need help and support. But, we're putting a sustainable model in place so we're starting with a modest budget which we're looking forward to build on.

Donate today so A fair Education for international students  in the UK becomes fact.

Thank you
