NO- this paper misses the point (deliberately)? International students PAY for a UK education. This includes #internships. There are up to 310, 190 non EU students studying in HE across the United Kingdom, during any one academic calendar year.
We want to help each and every student who may need help to raise the finances. So they can get the legal help they need while they're studying.

We're delighted by the growing media interest in the plight of international students in the UK.

Please would you read this article and ask yourself this very tough question: what would you do if you'd spend £200,000 to learn a highly specialist subject in a foreign country. Then find out you couldn't learn all the skills and subject matter;only towards the end of your degree. After you'd spent alot of time and alot of money working towards your professional qualification.
How would you feel?
What would you do?
Would you want others to help you get justice?
Maybe these questions might be quite challenging in the current context of the immigration debate in the UK. Ponder these questions until the next guest blog posts from Media Activist Jay Baker are published.

Help us SMASH our target so we can help at least 4 overseas students finish their studies this year

There are over 2 million international students in the UK
Our goal is to be able to have enough funds and resources to respond to any student who needs legal help while studying. That's alot of money to help up to 310,190 students. We're determined to scale operations to meet this ambition. But to start, we'd like to help at least 4 overseas students with our current fundraising for 2016. We definitely want to help one.

Please give generously so that we can SMASH our target and help as many international students as possible in the next 12 months. We hold on record more than 4 international students who've unsuccessfully tried to find help to finish their studies.
According to HESA stats, there were just over 2 million international students in the UK in 2014/15.

in Higher Education in 2013-14"

Records suggest 90% of international students who study at university; enrol on HE vocational studies. Commonly called "sandwich courses." If the current obstacles stay in place. It will be virtually impossible for any of these students to finish the studies they start and obtain the full professional qualifications of the university HE course they 're on.
We'd like to have the funding and resources in place to help each and every overseas student who may need help and support. But, we're putting a sustainable model in place so we're starting with a modest budget which we're looking forward to build on.
